M2.2 - Demonstrate through investigation, an awareness of non-standard measuring devices and standard measuring devices and strategies for using them (FDELKP, P.104, 2016).

Example: The children can use measuring cups to put the milk in the bowl as well as using a certain amount of drops for the food colouring.

 

S2.1 - State problems and pose questions before and during investigation (FDELKP, P.117, 2016).

Example: The children are free to discuss how  much milk and food colouring they will use in order to be successful in this experiment.
